Quality is our business;
it's an all-encompassing company ethos, for good quality means fewer rejects,
which makes for on-time deliveries and satisfied customers.
Inspection and test may be
part of the process but our Quality Management System is much more than
that, for it describes process, methodology and control. It's this thought
process and total commitment to our customers, which underpins the company.
Approved to ISO 9002:1994 our
Quality Manual sets out a general policy which is supported by our comprehensive
Quality Procedures, addressing in detail how we meet the requirements
of the standard.
These procedures are then translated into Work Instructions, which define
in detail how each task is to be undertaken.
Complete documentation of all
events in the production process is maintained with sign-off at each stage
to show work carried out. But the process starts much earlier, right at
Goods Inwards with the receipt of components and materials where random
or customer specified inspection and tests are undertaken.
Our Quality Management System
continues to evolve through ongoing review and a commitment to understand
our customer's quality needs. Our current project of working towards ISO
9001:2000 accreditation is all part of this process.
